Ruthin Castle
A truly individual and unique historic castle which dates from before 1277 and dominates the historic Welsh market town of Ruthin. Ruthin Gaol

Ruthin Gaol is one of North Wales’ most fascinating buildings. From 1654 to 1916 thousands of prisoners passed through its gates and now it is open to public to find out what prison life in the 19th century was really like.
Ruthin Craft Centre

The Arts Council of Wales Lottery funded transformation of Ruthin Craft Centre is now underway. This exciting redevelopment designed by Sergison Bates architects will be open by summer 2008. The new centre will be located on the existing site in its own landscape and will be dynamic zinc and cast stone building with undulating roofs to echo the surrounding Clwydian hills. The new centre will house: Three Galleries / Six Artist Studios / Retail Gallery / Education and Residency Workshops / Tourist Information / Café with courtyard terrace
